Overview
MSV is the common abbreviation for Mobile Suit Variation, a set of original mechanical and character designs created for the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise. Rather than a single standalone story, it refers to a broad line of supplementary material that expands Gundam lore through model kits, illustrations, and side profiles. These variations introduced many alternate mobile suits and concepts that became important parts of the franchise's expanded universe.
