Pocket Monsters XY is the Japanese main title for the sixth generation of the Pokémon anime television series. It follows Ash Ketchum, Pikachu, and their companions as they travel through the Kalos region, meeting new friends, Gym Leaders, and Pokémon while Ash pursues his goal of becoming a Pokémon Master. The series is known for introducing Mega Evolution prominently and for its focus on Ash’s journey alongside Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie.
