Android 16 is a major supporting character in the Dragon Ball Z anime series. Created by Dr. Gero of the Red Ribbon Army, he is an android designed for the purpose of destroying Goku. Unlike his android counterparts, Android 16 is gentle, kind-hearted, and cares deeply about nature and living things. He plays a crucial role during the Cell Saga, inspiring Gohan to awaken his hidden power and ultimately confront the threat posed by Cell.
