Wood Man is a Robot Master from the Mega Man series, known in Japan as Rockman. He first appeared in Mega Man 2, released in 1988 by Capcom. Designed with a nature motif, Wood Man is constructed almost entirely of wood, which grants him unique abilities related to nature and forests. His primary weapon is the Leaf Shield, which he uses to protect himself and attack opponents. In the series, he is one of the eight Robot Masters created by Dr. Wily to challenge Mega Man.
