Overview
Tora, originally known as Nagatobimaru, is a powerful and ancient yokai in the anime series 'Ushio to Tora.' Sealed in a temple for 500 years by the Beast Spear, Tora is released by Ushio Aotsuki, the protagonist. Though initially antagonistic, Tora forms an uneasy alliance with Ushio, protecting him from other yokai threats. His character evolves from a fearsome, independent creature to a loyal companion. Tora's journey is marked by his struggle with his own monstrous instincts and his growing fondness for humanity, particularly his bond with Ushio.
