Overview
Ryouko Tamiya is a major character in Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu (Parasyte -the maxim-). She is a highly intelligent and calm parasite who infiltrates human society, eventually becoming a key figure in the story’s exploration of identity, coexistence, and survival. Unlike many other parasites, she shows curiosity and a more nuanced perspective on humans, making her one of the series’ most memorable and complex characters. Her role is central to the conflict between humans and parasites.
