Overview
Kiefer is a major supporting character in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. He is a young prince of Pickham’s allied kingdom, known for his adventurous spirit, confident personality, and strong sense of duty. Early in the story, he travels with the protagonist and Yangus as part of the party, helping drive the adventure forward. Kiefer’s role is especially important in the opening portion of the game, where he serves as a close companion and catalyst for the journey before eventually departing to pursue his own fate.
