Gotland is a fictional ship-girl character from Kantai Collection, based on the Swedish cruiser HSwMS Gotland. She is portrayed as a cheerful, friendly, and somewhat playful member of the fleet, often bringing a bright and approachable presence to the series. As an anthropomorphized warship, her role is to support the naval forces in battles against the Abyssal enemy while adding personality and charm to the cast. She represents the foreign ship additions in the franchise.
