Overview
Bardock is a Saiyan warrior from the Dragon Ball franchise and the father of Goku. In Dragon Ball Super, he is shown in flashbacks and special material as a noble but battle-hardened Saiyan who begins to sense the danger Frieza poses to Planet Vegeta. As a Super Saiyan in fan or interpreted references, he represents the legendary strength and defiance of his race. He plays a crucial backstory role by connecting Goku’s origins to the fall of the Saiyan homeworld.
