Overview
King Bumi is a major supporting character in Avatar: The Last Airbender and the eccentric, highly skilled Earth Kingdom monarch of Omashu. He is Aang’s old childhood friend and one of the few people who knew him before the Air Nomad genocide. Known for his bizarre sense of humor, strategic genius, and formidable earthbending, Bumi helps guide Aang’s journey by testing him, offering wisdom, and later aiding the Earth Kingdom’s resistance against the Fire Nation.
