Overview
Jet Alone is a fictional giant self-operating humanoid robot from Neon Genesis Evangelion (Shin Seiki Evangelion). It is not a person but an experimental, nuclear-powered mecha developed as a rival to NERV’s Evangelions. The machine appears during a public demonstration and becomes the center of a crisis when its safety systems fail, causing panic and political fallout. Jet Alone serves as a plot device to highlight the dangers of relying on conventional technology and the unique necessity of the Evangelion project.
