Overview
July is a young Doll in Darker than Black, a human-like medium who has lost the ability to think and act independently and instead serves as a passive conduit for information. He travels with Hei’s group and becomes a quiet but important companion, often communicating through a doll-like presence rather than ordinary speech. July’s role in the series is to provide support, emotional contrast, and a reminder of the human cost of the Contractors’ world.
