Overview
Mako is a major character in The Legend of Korra, an Earth Kingdom-born firebender and one of Korra’s closest allies. He is a serious, protective, and dependable young man who works as a pro-bending athlete and later serves as a Republic City police officer. Throughout the series, Mako plays an important supporting role in the central team, helping investigate major threats and contributing both combat skill and emotional grounding to the group.
