Overview
Popee is the mischievous main character of Popee the Performer, a surreal dark comedy anime. He is a young clown-like performer who works alongside Kedamono in a bizarre circus setting. Popee is energetic, unpredictable, and often cruel in his antics, which usually lead to chaotic and violent outcomes. As the central figure of the series, he drives much of the humor and absurdity through his prank-filled behavior and exaggerated reactions.
