Overview

Pain is the name used by Nagato as the public face of the Akatsuki’s leader in Naruto. He appears as a powerful antagonist who commands six bodies called the Six Paths of Pain, each sharing the same will and Rinnegan abilities. Pain leads the assault on Konohagakure and serves as one of the series’ central villains, embodying the themes of pain, loss, and the cycle of hatred. He is later revealed to be the true identity behind the title, rather than a separate birth name.
