Overview
Leliel is one of the Angels in Shin Seiki Evangelion, appearing as the 12th Angel. It is a mysterious and highly unusual entity that manifests as a floating black-and-white spherical shadow, with its true body existing as an enormous shadow-like dimension. Leliel attacks by trapping targets inside its Dirac Sea, a pocket-like alternate space. In the series, Leliel serves as a psychologically intense opponent, forcing Shinji Ikari into a confrontation with fear, isolation, and self-awareness.
