Overview

Katara is a central character in Avatar: The Last Airbender and a Water Tribe waterbender from the Southern Water Tribe. She is compassionate, determined, and highly skilled, often serving as the heart of the group and a maternal figure to her friends. Throughout the series, she travels with Aang and helps him master waterbending while also growing into a powerful healer and fighter. Katara plays a key role in the fight against the Fire Nation and in Aang’s journey to become the Avatar.
