Overview
Akyuu Hieda is a recurring character in the Touhou Project series and serves as the current head of the Hieda family, a lineage tasked with preserving the history of Gensokyo. She is known as the child successor to the position of the Perfect Memento in Strict Sense author, documenting youkai, incidents, and the supernatural world. Calm, intelligent, and observant, Akyuu plays an important lore role as a historian and chronicler, helping define much of Touhou's setting through her records and commentary.
