Overview

Mr. Satan, also known as Hercule in some English dubs, is a flamboyant martial artist and celebrity in Dragon Ball Z. He is the world champion of the Tenkaichi Budokai and becomes famous as the public face of Earth’s defenders, despite lacking the superhuman power of the Z Fighters. Often comic relief, he is boastful, cowardly, and self-important, but later shows surprising bravery and sincerity. He plays an important role in public perception, especially during the Cell and Majin Buu arcs.
