Star Sapphire is a fairy-like youkai from the Touhou Project series, known as one of the Three Fairies of Light alongside Sunny Milk and Luna Child. She is associated with stars and has the ability to sense movement, especially the subtle changes caused by nearby beings. In the series, she appears as a mischievous but cheerful character who often joins the other fairies in playful pranks and small-scale trouble around Gensokyo. Her role is mainly as a recurring supporting character and comic presence.
