Overview
Android 8, also known as Eighter or Hatchan, is a gentle artificial human from Dragon Ball who first appears as an enemy created by the Red Ribbon Army. Unlike most of Dr. Gero’s later androids, he is kind-hearted and refuses to fight unnecessarily. After meeting Goku, he becomes an ally and helps protect others with his great strength and calm nature. He serves as an early example of the series’ theme that not all powerful beings are evil.
