Overview
Faris NyanNyan is a recurring character in Steins;Gate and one of the members of the Future Gadget Laboratory's circle of friends. She works at the maid café MayQueen NyanNyan and is known for her playful, cat-like speech, cheerful personality, and sharp intuition. Beneath her cute and teasing exterior, she plays an important role in the story's time-travel conflicts, especially through her connection to Akihabara and her emotional ties to the main cast. She is also revealed to be Ruka Urushibara's family name in one worldline.
