Laharl Krichevskoy is the main protagonist of Makai Senki Disgaea, also known as Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. He is the son of the late Overlord Krichevskoy and claims the throne of the Netherworld after awakening from a long slumber. Laharl is known for his brash, selfish, and prideful personality, but he gradually reveals a more caring side as the story progresses. His journey drives the plot as he battles rivals and allies alike to prove himself as the true Overlord.
