Mildred Hitokui, known as 'Man-Eater Mildred' in the Dark Souls series, is a hostile non-playable character (NPC) invader. She is infamous for her wild appearance, carrying a large butcher knife and wearing tattered clothing. Mildred invades the player in Blighttown, where she serves as both a formidable opponent and, after defeat, a potential ally as a summon for the boss fight against Chaos Witch Quelaag. Her presence adds danger and depth to the game's challenging world.
