Overview
Galvatron Prime is a major antagonist in the Transformers franchise, notably debuting in the 1986 animated film and appearing in various anime and media adaptations. Originally the Decepticon leader Megatron, he is reformatted by Unicron into Galvatron, gaining immense power and a more ruthless personality. As the new leader of the Decepticons, Galvatron is known for his cunning, ambition, and instability, often posing a formidable threat to the Autobots and their leader, Optimus Prime, throughout the series.
