Yamame Kurodani is a character from the Touhou Project series, first appearing as the Stage 1 Boss in 'Subterranean Animism.' She is a tsuchigumo, a type of earth spider youkai who dwells in the former Hell's underground caverns. Yamame is known for her ability to manipulate infectious diseases, making her both feared and respected among other youkai.
