Deathmask Cancer, known in Japanese as キャンサー デスマスク, is one of the Gold Saints in the classic anime series Saint Seiya. He is the guardian of the Cancer Temple and wears the Gold Cloth of Cancer. Deathmask is infamous for his ruthless and sadistic personality, showing little compassion for his enemies. He serves as an antagonist during the Sanctuary arc, directly opposing the main protagonists, and embodies the darker aspects of the Gold Saints’ loyalty to the corrupted Sanctuary.
