Wakasagihime is a mermaid youkai who appears in the Touhou Project series, first debuting as the Stage 1 Boss in Touhou 14: Double Dealing Character. She is gentle, timid, and prefers peaceful encounters, often seen swimming in Misty Lake. Despite her shy nature, Wakasagihime bravely faces the protagonist during the events of the game. Her role is primarily as an early obstacle, introducing players to the game's mechanics, but she is beloved for her charming and kind-hearted personality.
