Overview
Naoki Kashima, better known as the Demi-fiend (人修羅, Hitoshura), is the silent protagonist of the game Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne. After surviving the Conception, a cataclysmic event that destroys Tokyo, he is transformed into a half-demon being. Naoki plays a crucial role in shaping the fate of the Vortex World by choosing which Reason—an ideology for a new world—will be realized, or by rejecting all of them. His journey is central to the game's narrative and its multiple endings.
