Overview
Leberecht Maass, commonly known as Z1, is a character in the Kantai Collection (KanColle) franchise. She is personified as the German Z1-class destroyer and is one of the few ship girls representing the Kriegsmarine. Z1 is portrayed as calm, confident, and sometimes a bit aloof, often guiding her fellow ship girls, especially Z3. Her role in the series is to bring a unique foreign flair, acting as a bridge between the Japanese and German factions within the fleet.
